OpenRecourse is committed to protecting the privacy of its users. This policy describes what data is collected, why, how it is processed, and what your rights are.
1. Data collected
Anonymous browsing
The OpenRecourse MVP is fully accessible without creating an account and without authentication. No personal data is collected when simply browsing the site.
Contribution form
When a user submits information through the "Contribute" form, the following data may be collected:
- The content of the contribution (free text);
- The cited source (link, document, testimony);
- An optional email address for follow-up (never published).
No personally identifiable information (last name, first name, employer) should appear in the content of the contribution. Contributions are anonymized before publication.
Technical data
Cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the site (language preference FR/EN) may be stored. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are deployed on the MVP.
2. Legal basis for processing
The processing of contributions is based on the user's explicit consent (Article 6.1.a GDPR), evidenced by the voluntary submission of the form.
3. Retention period
- Published contributions: retained for the entire operational lifetime of the site;
- Follow-up email: 24 months maximum, deleted upon request.
4. Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of access, rectification and erasure of your data;
- Right to portability;
- Right to object to processing;
- Right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

5. Sharing with third parties
Contributions are published on the site after moderation, but no individual data (in particular email) is shared with third parties without explicit and prior consent.
If, in the future, you use the form to be put in touch with a partner (lawyer, outplacement firm, training organization), this transmission will be evidenced by a dedicated checkbox explicitly stating the recipient and the purpose.
